Women
As a result of the Croatia Hamilton Sports Club and Hamilton Croatian Centre 2009 merger, the Women's Bocce League became an initiative set in motion attempting to generate more female participation and membership.
The interest the league garnered from women of our local community was overwhelming. In it's inaugural season the league was capped at 16 teams with a total 51 players.
The league grew so much in popularity that two new bocce courts had to be installed in the spring of 2010.
That summer there were 28 teams and over 100 women competing. WBL games are played Tuesday and Wednesday nights during the summer months and into the early fall at the bocce facilities at 166 Green Mountain Road.
